Your responsibilities as a pet owner

At Mad Mountain Dog Stay and Play, we love caring for your dogs, and to ensure their safety and well-being, we require owners to be mindful of certain responsibilities.

Health & Vaccinations

All dogs must be up-to-date on their vaccinations, including C5. Please provide proof of vaccination upon request. We also ask that your dog is free of fleas and ticks before their stay or service. Owners are responsible for disclosing any known health issues, allergies, or behavioural concerns prior to booking.

Behaviour & Temperament

Owners are responsible for their dog's behaviour. While we strive to create a harmonious environment, any dog displaying aggression or disruptive behaviour may be separated or, in extreme cases, require early collection by the owner. Please inform us of any behavioural tendencies your dog may have.

Emergency Contact

It is crucial to provide accurate and up-to-date emergency contact information. In the event of an emergency, we will attempt to contact you or your designated emergency contact immediately.

Unexpected situations and our commitment

While we always aim for a perfect experience, unforeseen circumstances can sometimes arise. Here's what you can expect from Mad Mountain Dog Stay and Play and what we expect from you in such situations:

Medical Emergencies

In the event of a medical emergency, we will immediately seek veterinary attention for your dog, utilising your provided vet details or our closest available vet. All associated veterinary costs will be the responsibility of the owner.

Unexpected Changes

If there's an unexpected change to our services (e.g., staff illness), we will notify you as soon as possible and work with you to find an alternative solution or offer a full refund for the affected service.

Owner's Role in Emergencies

We expect owners to be reachable via the provided contact details. If we cannot reach you in an emergency, we will proceed with the course of action we deem best for your dog's welfare.

Property Damage

While we take every precaution, owners will be responsible for any damage caused by their dog to Mad Mountain Dog Stay and Play property or property of third parties (e.g., during a dog walk) beyond normal wear and tear.
